Lynda- I took your course and was certainly glad I did. I took my exam last week in Sacramento and thought it went well. The reason I am asking is I have a coworker in Texas that needs something similar there. Do you offer this program in Texas? Or do you know of a similar program there? Thanks for your help….

Lynda,
Thank you for the excellent course. My version of the first test was very similar to
the study questions, and I think I did well. I am less confident on the CA exam,
but was able to work out all of the calculations and come up with answers. I
did better on the math questions than I had expected, in large part due to the
practice in class. I also enjoyed the give and take of our class session. It was
excellent preparation. Will let you know when my scores come,

Top of the morning lynda, I want to thank you again for the classes. They where very informative and I’m confident I passed the international exam. If I passed the CA exam I would be pleasantly surprised. At least I’d back to you for round 2. Ironically the problem on your worksheet that required us to add up the values in each trial and divide by the of trials divided by 43560 then taking that value and multiplying it by the the original value was exactly the same on the test. Even the values were the same. The california exam did have many questions we went over including quite a few from the ones we went over from your archives. Well I guess in 6 or so weeks I’ll know my destiny, I’ll keep you posted if you’re interested? Quick question can I retake your exam like a day or two before this time?
Pass or no pass your class is definitely worth every dollar because I felt much more comfortable this time around.

These materials for the applicator are designed for California, however the Certified Crop Advisor does have national use

We are a company that specializes in help people study for and pass the California CCA Exam and the International CCA exam, you must take and pass both exams in order to be a CCA. We have 2 classes one for the International test the exam prep class costs $350 and another class that costs $300 for the California CCA.

We don’t have anything to do with administering the CCA exam, however I believe the cost to register for those exams are $175 for International and $95 for California

This class was extremely helpful. The entire class is concentrated to teach the student exactly what they need to know to pass the test. If you are having any questions or concerns regarding test structure and format this class will enlighten you. I recommend taking any of the classes offered by P & L to ensure your success.

The laws exam has already changed as of at least October, 2011 when we tried to take the test in Arcadia and found all of the questions to be different than were on the Study guide. Since we paid for the materials about a month or so before the test and they have already changed, will we get a complimentary copy of the laws so we can re-take the test?

We have all new materials for 2012! Previously we had a “practice exam” and “study outline” for starting November 1, 2011 that product will no longer be offered and we will instead have a new self study program…. stand by for our announcement and new product release on Nov 1st

Actually the paperback and the CD have exactly the same content, it’s just a matter of how YOU prefer to study. If you want to be able to study on the go the paper is a better choice, but if you like to study interactive in a flash card type format and you learn well that way then the CD is the best choice. If CD strictly an on screen product, it will not print out the entire text it will print out your score each time you take the practice exam and any questions that you miss so you can restudy just those, you can take the practice test as many times as you like. Hope this helps you decide.

I felt that this time I was prepared, as apposed to the last time I took the California section. I do however feel that we should have gone over the mechanics of the calculations a time or two more, as I feel that they are changing the data given but not the process to arrive at the correct answers.
We will find out how I did in 6 weeks, hopefully I passed this time. I did speak with the proctor and asked, because he was with the UC extension, that they review a couple of questions I felt were not true in their prepitory section on-line. One pertained to the use of Micro sprinklers which they said were not used for frost protection here in CA. Another we went over in our class, hopefully they will review them.

The course I just finished is loaded with many interesting facts. I found it very easy to use.
I had to take the quiz a couple of times…overall…I give the course an A.

Thank you for the easy way of getting through this stuff. All the past courses I took from your
company made passing these state exams a snap! I can see the CE courses will follow suite.

I will be watching for more CE courses to be added to your web site. In addition I will
contact you in July or early Aug to order the Sewer Line Root Control disc.
